The Brief

KLM Spatial is a land development consultancy, with a footprint in Melbourne’s south east and regional Victoria. They are consultants for all types of green and brownfield land development projects. KLM Spatial approached our team to assist with updating their Capabilities Statement, messaging and brand collateral, to reflect the significant changes the business has undergone in the last few years.

The Result

The first task was to refresh and standardise all the main brand elements across all internal documents and collateral. This included the development of new email signatures, internal document templates and guidelines, car wraps, and decals. To ensure brand consistency across the business, design guidelines were collated in a central brand book for staff.

The business next required a new Capabilities Statement, to reflect a shift in business priorities. A review of the old Capabilities Statement was completed, and a proposed new direction prepared. Core business research was undertaken, identifying key messages, point of difference, and value proposition, as well as learning about key aspects of the KLM Spatial approach and projects. Our team worked with each of seven departments to ensure all sections of the document were accurate and reflected the most important priorities. A new layout and design followed, incorporating the refreshed brand elements.
