The Brief
Dental 99 is an industry disrupter, offering affordable dental, with all bookings, patient records, and follow up after-care advice provided through an app. Customers book their appointment and ‘check-in’ via the app when they arrive for their appointment. Dental 99 approached Tag The Cat to develop a series of in-clinic posters to answer common questions patients had about bookings and appointments
The Result
Tag The Cat undertook a day of patient interviewing in order to identify communication gaps where patients expressed a desire for more information. A series of posters were developed which answered common patient questions, including why clinics didn't have receptionists, how to book appointments, and Dental 99's vision for dental health. The challenge was for the design and content of the posters to be highly engaging, while also communicating important information. Posters were to be rotated every few months. A broad narrative approach was taken to the copy, creating lighthearted, entertaining and colourful posters that attracted attention, contributed a youthful, friendly tone to clinic walls, and contrasted with the normally bland style of most dental clinics.
